Communication Specialist  & Creative Consultant

My name is Lindsey Adams and I am currently a senior at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. I will be graduating with a degree in Communication Arts (Science & Rhetoric) with a certificate in Digital Studies. With my passion for the arts and connecting with people through diligent conversation, I hope to work within the music industries to strengthen bridges between upcoming artists with fans, music venues, and/or professionals already within the industries. Through this effort, I hope to see the complexities of the industries change for the better and affect not only the artists currently employed, but the endless number of artists to come.

 

UW classes have offered me the opportunity to involve myself in countless Internet-focused classes which built skills needed for marketing, understanding current trends, and even discerning which type of communication should be used depending on the scenario at hand. I am currently enrolled in a Music Industries course as well, which has already strengthened my readiness to enter this area of interest. After I graduate, I plan on taking these abilities into the workforce in either Milwaukee or continuing my life beyond school, here, in Madison.
